- According to several sources there was an aircraft factory and airbase "Fliegeretappenkompanie Nr. 16"[3] in or near Cheb. [4]. So far, no mention of this factory (Wrede & Wiedehold or Flugzeugwerk Eger GmbH) or the Fliegerhorst Eger was found in the sources (ITS and such). More research is needed.
Discrepancies and errata
- This location only appears in the listing of Flossenbürg subcamps in Das Nationalsozialistische Lagersystem, (CCP), page 734, referring to page 41. On page 41 only a prison is mentioned in Eger, not a Flossenbürg subcamp.
