Holocaustmap:About
Holocaustmap makes information about the Holocaust easily accessible to a wide audience by showing locations on a fully interactive map. Zooming in, users can identify individual concentration camps; by zooming out, users can see camps in their wider context. The widest zoom level shows the full scale of the Nazi concentration camp system.
To make this possible, we are building a database of the camps and sub-camps established by Nazi Germany and their collaborators.
We aim to provide resources for the general public, academics and interested parties, for the purposes of research, education and preservation of archival material that is spread across multiple sources and (at risk of) being lost.
Holocaustmap is forever ad-free and never for profit.
