Outstanding questions

According to several sources there was an aircraft factory and airbase "Fliegeretappenkompanie Nr. 16"^[3] in or near Cheb. ^[4]. So far, no mention of this factory (Wrede & Wiedehold or Flugzeugwerk Eger GmbH) or the Fliegerhorst Eger was found in the sources (ITS and such). More research is needed.

Discrepancies and errata

This location only appears in the listing of Flossenbürg subcamps in Das Nationalsozialistische Lagersystem, (CCP), page 734, referring to page 41. On page 41 only a prison is mentioned in Eger, not a Flossenbürg subcamp.
