In combination with other bordellos established by the Nazi state (for the soldiers of the Wehrmacht, for SS officers, and for foreign and forced laborers working in the German Reich), concentration camp bordellos formed part of an extensive system in which, Paul estimates, a minimum of 34,140 women were forced to work as prostitutes during the Third Reich.[1]
