European Sites of Remembrance
The Information Portal to European Sites of Remembrance is a project of the Foundation Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. It is part of the exhibition of the Information Centre under the Field of Stelea of the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin.
Gedenkstaette Neuengamme
The Neuengamme Concentration Camp Memorial encompasses almost the entire historic site of the concentration camp, including 17 original buildings. It is one of the largest memorials in Germany (57 hectares), and approximately 100,000 people visit here each year.
Leipzig Nazi Forced Labour Memorial
The museum commemorates the victims, injustices and history of the use of forced labour by the NS in Leipzig and the consequences of this practice. Located on the premises of HASAG – formerly the biggest weapons manufacturer of Saxony – the museum commemorates the wartime experience of thousands of civilian forced labourers, prisoners of war and internees of concentration camps in the Leipzig region.
