Separate sub-project to list (all) prisons in Germany and the occupied or collaborative areas and research the reasons for incarceration.
Some are known or mentioned in the literature but also many seem to be mentioned more indirectly as feeding into concentration camps. This implies that people were in these prisons for being Jewish, political opponent, homosexual or any of the many groups that were targeted by the Nazis.
